Holiday Park Les Villas du Lac

The resort hotel Les Villas du Lac has an outdoor swimming pool with a large pool and a small paddling pool for children. The pool is open during the summer season. There are sun loungers and parasols in the spacious area. The extensive sandy beach of Soustons is around one kilometre away. The Atlantic Ocean is ideal for swimming, snorkelling, surfing and stand-up paddling. After around 4.7 kilometres, you will find yourself at the Plage de Messanges, a wild beach between the forest and the sea, which impresses with its natural beauty. After about 500 meters, you will arrive at the lake of Soustons. Swimming is only permitted in a few places on this huge body of water. However, non-motorised water activities, such as stand-up paddling and canoeing, are permitted in many places. The "Lac Marin de Port d'Albret" between Soustons and Vieux-Boucau is ideal for children. It has a sandy beach and calm water that is ideal for swimming and is often a few degrees warmer than the sea. There is a boat hire service at the Plage de la Sauvagine.

Soustons not only offers shopping and places to eat, but also the Musée des Traditions et des Vieux Outils. Here you can see an exhibition on old trades with around 950 exhibits. Golfers can visit the 9-hole, par-36 Pinsolle golf course behind Soustons beach. Here you can swing your club between the sea and a wonderfully fragrant pine forest. The Centre Aquatique Aygueblue water park with wave pool and adventure pool is located just five kilometres away in Saint-Geours-de-Maremne. About the same distance away is La Pointe des Vergnes, a shady park with alders and cypresses, which offers a wonderful view of the lake.
