A large and lively destination, 4* Campsite Lanterna offers an ideal location for families seeking a fun and active holiday. The site is located on Croatia’s stunning Istrian peninsula, surrounded by lush pine forests, on the edge of a long pebble beach and close to the scenic town of Porec.

The wonderful aqua complex on the campsite provides the perfect spot to enjoy the soothing rays of the Adriatic sun. Comprising of a selection of deep and shallow water pools, as well as a splash playground and water slides, the complex is a smash hit with the kids.

Perhaps best to enjoy in the early morning and early evening when the temperature is cooler, a variety of sports and games are on offer at the site. Challenge family and newly made friends to some basketball, volleyball or mini golf. Children can meet up with new friends at the exciting Kids Club, where they can enjoy tournaments, discos, competitions and live shows. This affords the grown-ups plenty of time to try a yoga class, aqua aerobics session or indulge in a massage.

The campsite features a comprehensive selection of convenient amenities, meaning you have access to everything you need without the need to leave the resort. Onsite you will find a supermarket, mini market, grocery store and newspaper stand, as well as many dining options including a restaurant, takeaway and pizzeria. The coastal setting of the site affords guests the chance to swim in clear blue waters, which lend themselves perfectly to a spot of snorkelling. There a plenty of beaches dotted around the local area, so you have a good choice of places to sunbathe in. You will find a number of water sports providers nearby as well, offering pedalo boating, sea kayaking, paddle boarding and lots more.

Travel south from the campsite and you will arrive at the lively town of Porec, a popular summer resort with a historic old town and plenty of things to see and do. Many visitors with children head to Aquacolors, a massive water parks with superb slides, rides and activities. For some culture, stop by the Trg Marafor, Romanisches Haus or the Poreč-Parenzo Town Museum.
