The Wadden Sea island of Rømø is not far away, which has the longest sandbank in Europe. The campsite is ideal for nature lovers, as the rural surroundings invite you to go hiking, horse riding or bird watching. The area is hardly populated, so you will find the necessary relaxation and time for yourself. If you do want to get some cultural education, the nearby historic towns of Ribe and Tønder are perfect for a day trip. The campsite offers a wide range of facilities such as

  • a renovated playground,
  • a games room and TV room,
  • table tennis and table football
  • and several dart boards.

The reception, which is staffed daily, accepts both Danish kroner and euros as currency. This is important to know for the bread and roll service, for example.

Pool, beach and facilities

The Danish Wadden Sea is right on your doorstep: you can reach the coast in less than 800 metres. You can do this very easily on foot or by bike. There is a well-signposted cycle path around the campsite and bicycle hire is available at the campsite. After swimming, you can wash your clothes in the campsite's washing machines.
