Along with the chance to access a beautiful sandy beach, holidaymakers can make a splash in the site’s lovely pool complex. The modest but inviting pool is covered and heated, ensuring guests can enjoy all-weather swimming. Decorated by colourful flowers and well-tended hedges, the swimming complex also features a paddling pool for tots. For relaxing moments in the company of flora and fauna, campers can rest by the scenic lake found onsite.
The activities available at Le Châtelet are varied and include sports such as football, volleyball, ping-pong and bocce ball as well as fun family things to do like mini golf. At the Oulala Snack Bar, open between mid-June to the end of August, campers can enjoy sociable lunches and dinners from a varied menu with good options for children. Other useful services at the resort include a store with a bazaar, bakery section, produce aisle and newsstand.
Rewarding holidaymakers with lovely views of the bay as far as the ancient hilltop castle of Fort-la-Latte, the terraced emplacements of the resort are private, peaceful and abundantly green.
Perched on a beautiful stretch of the Emerald Coast, Le Châtelet is a great destination for lovers of the sea and shores. There are plenty of gorgeous walking trails in the local area, as well as a blissful beach called Plage de la Pissotte. Situated around a 10-minute walk from the campsite is the town of St Cast, which features plenty of restaurants, shops and bars.
Interesting places to visit a little farther afield include Dinard with its lovely beaches and quaint streets. In St. Malo, children will love a visit to the port town’s captivating Grand Aquarium while history buffs can enjoy day trips to Fort National and Solidor Tower.
