The pretty seaside resort of Le Grau du Roi is a short stroll away and is well worth a visit to see the numerous boats in the marina and to enjoy a delicious meal in a local restaurant. The fascinating cosmopolitan cities of Montpellier and Nimes are both within easy driving distance of the campsite and make an enjoyable day trip.

The local area is home to Europe’s longest, wildest sandy beach as well as lovely little towns and lots of natural parkland. When you’re out and about in the area keep your eyes peeled for the local wildlife including pink flamingos and wild white Camargue horses.
