Campsite Le Front de Mer

With everything you need for a sun-soaked escape by the Mediterranean Sea, 4* Campsite Le Front de Mer in the Pyrenees-Orientales department of Occitanie remains a favourite resort for campers in search of blissful beach holidays. This family-friendly site is conveniently located a short walk to the coast and makes for a brilliant base for exploring the historic Languedoc-Roussillon.

The beating heart of the resort is the wonderful aqua complex that features waterfalls, two kamikaze slides, three pools (including one heated indoor pool) and a poolside bar. The Relaxation Zone offers an ambiance of Zen for optimal requiescence.

The energetic staff onsite run a vibrant Kids Club during high season (Jul-Aug) for youngsters aged 6-12. Enrolees can enjoy creative workshops, board games, modelling, mini golf and much more. Playing a variety of sports is possible in the multisport field, as well as enjoying a few games of boules and table tennis.

After dinner, holidaymakers are encouraged to join in the fun of the evening entertainment programme, where a line-up of well-rehearsed shows, theme parties and live music give colour to the night.

At the onsite restaurant, campers can dine under the warming sun of the Pyrenees-Orientales, sampling delicious Catalan and national dishes. A well-stocked supermarket also provides ready-made meals to enjoy back at the accommodation. Grab a few scoops of ice cream from the snack bar, as well as quick bites to eat and refreshing drinks.

The emplacements in the park are shaded and spacious, and feature various sizes of mobile homes. The living areas are roomy enough to spend time with family, while the kitchens are equipped with everything you need. You’ll feel right at home in our modern mobile homes.

Close to the campsite is Argelès Adventure, a high-wire forest adventure park with 120 different sections and a choice of difficulty levels, perfect for adrenaline seekers!

If it's history and culture you're interested in then there’s the Château de Pujol and the Tour de Massane in Argelès-sur-Mer. Don’t miss the nearby charming Catalan villages, forts and towns including Villefranche de Conflent, the “fortified town”. Be sure to take a walk along the ramparts to immerse yourself in the history of the town.

The campsite is ideally located 10 minutes from the picturesque town of Collioure, which became a true artistic centre where Picasso, Matisse and other famous painters were inspired by the Mediterranean, the old castle and the beautiful streets.
