A small and serene resort set in beautiful green surroundings, Campsite Homair Parc des Allais is ideally located for exploring the Loire Valley. Boasting an enviable position on the banks of the Vienne River, near Trogues in the Indre-et-Loire department, nature enthusiasts are spoilt for choice.

The park offers a wealth of amenities, including an impressive pool complex with an indoor pool,an outdoor pool with waterslides and a shallow area for small children, a lake for fishing ; and a fantastic range of sports facilities. Bicycle hire and horse riding excursions are also available and offer the perfect way to explore the local area.

Throughout the summer, children of all ages can take part in a selection of activities at the on-site Kids Club. Meanwhile, the grown-ups can relax under the afternoon sun on the terrace whilst enjoying nice views of the river that fringes the campsite. In the evening, the onsite entertainment will keep the whole family amused, and is a great way to end an action-packed day.

If you want to cook in your accommodation, you can buy goods in the small grocery store on-site. A larger supermarket can be found near the site. The takeaway and snack bar are ideal for quick bites, while the restaurant serves up a nice selection of dishes at lunch and dinner time.

The campsite is well laid out and features an abundance of greenery that gives an air of ambience and calm. The spacious emplacements offer great privacy from your neighbour. Whether you opt for a stay in one of our mobile homes or tents, you will find comfortable living spaces and convenient facilities.

Around Homair Parc des Allais Campsite

As you’ll stay in the heart of the Loire Valley, you will have the chance to visit many stunning castles that are scattered throughout the region. Delve into the rich history of Château de Langeais, Château de Villandry and Château de Chenonceau to name but a few. Mini Chateaux Land, 45 miles from the campsite, features miniature models of the most famous chateaux of the Loire and decide which ones to visit.

Kids will revel in a visit to Futuroscope, a unique theme park with hi-tech multimedia rides and attractions, which is a 45-minute drive from the campsite.

A little further, the famous Beauval Zoo welcomes you for a wonderful day with your family. Pandas, Hippos, and other animals are waiting for you in the biggest zoo in France.

The flora and fauna of the region is so diverse and rich, it’s well worth taking a day to explore the landscape by bicycle or on foot. Stop by any one of the quaint villages in the area, and you’ll feel like you are in a fairy tale.
