Campsite La Pinède

Set in the shade of maritime pines between the Atlantic Coast and the Gironde estuary , Camping La Pinède is a luxury resort packed with activities that’s just a short drive to the sparkling beaches of Royan. One of the best camping destinations in Les Mathes , and indeed the Charente Maritime département , you will receive a warm welcome the very minute you arrive onsite.

Although you have the lovely beaches of nearby, it will be hard to prise the kids away from the amazing aqua facilities found at the resort. A heated indoor pool as well as a selection of great water slides and paddling areas for smaller children. A large outdoor swimming pool awaits you a little further on in the campsite

One of the highlights of the campsite is the extensive Children’s Clubs (catering for 4-6, 7-9, 10-12 and 13-17 year olds). Kids can make amazing friends and memories while engaging in tournaments, sporting activities or enjoying days out. A selection of sports are also open to all at the campsite and include basketball, table tennis, football, mini golf and archery.

Just because the sun goes down doesn’t mean the entertainment ends. In the evening, guests can revel in a live show, cabaret performance or sing their heart out at the karaoke. Kid’s parties and children’s discos are also popular as the say comes to an end.

You won’t go hungry at La Pinède, with a great onsite restaurant opposite the water park serving everything from pizza and burgers to fresh seafood. There’s also a snack bar, pizzeria and takeaway if you want to grab a quick bite. Sumptuous brioches, croissants and pains au chocolat can be bought for breakfast at the bakery.

The campsite prides itself of their selection of accommodation ranging from luxurious mobile homes featuring hot tubs to rustic camping options like tents that make for a wonderful glamping experience. The pitches a spread throughout the woodland setting of the site, and offer plenty of space and pleasant views.

Around La Pinède Campsite

La Pinède is ideally located for exploring the Charente-Maritime region. Just across the road from the campsite sits Luna Park, a fantastic amusement park with plenty of rides and attractions for the whole family. Another worthwhile day out can be spent at the famous Zoo de la Palmyre, just 5km from the campsite.

Further down the coast lies the town of Royan , which boasts some really nice beaches. Head north and you’ll arrive at the town of Rochefort, which features many maritime themed museums and attractions.
