Camping Italia Lido

Intimate family campsite with its own private beach on Lake Maggiore! 

The Lake Maggiore in North Italy has been for many years the favourite holiday destination for our Continental customers. Campsite Lido is set on the south end of this beautiful lake, nearby the lovely small town of Arona.
This beautiful peaceful campsite is very well maintained and set on an outlet of the lake, surrounded by green foliage. The sandy beach offers a colourful display with the campsite parasols and leads to shallow waters of the lake which makes it ideal for small children. The large floating pontoon offers plenty of water fun and also allows you to moor small boats.
If you’d rather spend a day at the swimming pool then you can go to the sister campsite Lago Maggiore, who will welcome you free of charge from July till half September. Next to campsite Italia Lido you’ll find a jetty where (if you’re a boat owner) can take your own boat to water. It is also possible to hire small boats at the campsite to explore the beautiful lake of Maggiore. For the little ones there is a play area on the campsite and for all youth video games. Campsite Italia Lido organises many activities and every evening there is plenty of fun in high season. A day trip to the Borromeic Islands or the lovely city of Arona, Stresa or Verbania are also fully recommended.

Boat buoy’s are only for hire at the campsite.
