Located on the picturesque southern tip of Lake Maggiore, the aptly named Campsite Village Lago Maggiore is a fantastic family resort nearby the lovely town of Arona. Nestled on the Piedmont side of the lake, the camping is an ideal base for venturing into the heart of nature and idle sunbathing days filled with relaxation.

The onsite swimming complex comprises of a main pool for adults and separate paddling area for young swimmers, as well as water slides. The spacious sun terrace is the ideal place from which to enjoy the lovely Mediterranean climate, while the poolside café will keep you refreshed throughout the day. The enviable setting of the resort on the banks of Maggiore affords guests the chance to swim in the sparkling waters of the lake.

The dedicated staff of the Kid’s Club ensure that all junior campers have a barrel load of fun in a safe and welcoming environment. Take a day trip to Stresa, about 35km away, where you can get the ferry to the beautiful Isola Bella, a rocky island in the middle of the lake. For a great family day out, head to the safari park at Pombia, a short drive from the campsite.
