Landal Sonnenberg

Landal Sonnenberg is an ideal starting point for exploring the natural landscape. The vacation park has a bicycle and mountain bike rental service, so you can explore the vineyards, green valleys and charming villages around the vacation park on two wheels. If you prefer to experience the nature around the Moselle on foot, you can explore the many well-maintained hiking trails. The Moselsteig Trail is highly recommended with 365 kilometers of wonderful nature experiences.      

You certainly won't be bored during a stay at Landal Sonnenberg. There is an indoor and outdoor climbing park, a playground and an indoor swimming pool where the adults can swim while the children whizz down the water slide or splash around in the children's pool. There is also a wide range of sports and entertainment options such as bowling, mini golf, beach volleyball, table tennis, an arcade and a multi-sports court. The little ones are entertained with competitions and games organized by the vacation park staff and its friendly mascot, the bear "Bollo".  

During your stay, take a trip to the beautiful, historic town of Bernkastel-Kues, where you should definitely try the wine and hike through the vineyards. Take a sightseeing flight from the town of Leiwen or experience the Moselle and Saar landscape from the water. If you like speed and excitement, visit the Triolago toboggan run in Riol, from where you have a fantastic view over the Moselle valley. You can spend a day with the children at the Eifelpark in Gondorf.
