Camping Falksteiner Hafnersee

The campsite is located directly on the beach of the Hafnersee. In addition to a long swimming beach with several swimming areas, swimming jetties, a defined area with shallow water and a large sunbathing area, there is also a special area for guests with dogs. From your pitch you can walk straight to the water to do one of the many water sports activities: for example, rowing, supping or canoeing. Motor boats are not allowed, so besides fun and laughter, you also enjoy the peace and quiet. You can rent canoes's and SUP'S, and if you like fishing, you can also buy a fishing license here.

If you prefer to stay on dry land, have fun playing mini-golf, beach volleyball or table tennis. In this part of Austria, a bit of cycling is certainly not a punishment, so the campground also rents bikes. Horse lovers can go for a ride in the area. On the shores of the Hafnersee there is a restaurant with an extensive choice. There is a supermarket just under 4 km from the campground, but for some basic necessities the campground has already set up some vending machines. 

Camping Hafnersee is located in the middle of the rolling hills of the Keutschacher Seental, surrounded by forests and lakes. A beautiful area for hiking and cycling. If you prefer to leave the car, the nearest bus stop is located 50 meters away. This will take you to Keutschach am See at 4 km. In the somewhat larger town of Velden am Wörthersee you can enjoy cosy terraces, nice stores and cultural events. There are also plenty of trips possible in the area, such as a visit to Minimundus (a kind of Madurodam) in Klagenfurt and the Pyramidenkogel, an observation tower with an indoor slide.
