The campsite has modern and well-maintained facilities, including a bright sanitary building with spacious family shower rooms and baby facilities to make everyday life with the little ones easier. There are plenty of opportunities to cook and share experiences with other campers in the communal kitchen, and if you need to do laundry along the way, the laundry room is at your disposal. Outside on the campsite, the new playground with a bouncy castle and mooncars is a hive of activity, while the boules court and ball court are perfect for friendly competition. If you're hungry, you can enjoy a fresh breakfast at the kiosk or a cold drink at the barbecue bar in the fall.

With its location in Hornum, Himmerland Camping is the ideal base for exploring the many treasures of North Jutland. If you enjoy golf, there are no fewer than six golf clubs within a 20-kilometre radius, and nature lovers will be delighted by the proximity to the highway and the many MTB trails in Vesthimmerland. Just a stone's throw from the campsite, you will find some of Denmark's cleanest lakes and good fishing spots for a quiet moment with your rod. The area also has plenty to offer culturally: follow in the footsteps of Bølle Bob in Hornum, a popular playground, visit the impressive museums in Aars or take a day trip to the Limfjord, the Rold Forest or the beautiful coastal towns on the North Sea. The experiences here are as varied as the landscape itself.
