Along with a selection of sports including table tennis and petanque available on site, there’s an abundance of lakeside recreation activities on offer to guests. Enjoy fishing, Hawaiian Outrigger Pirogue boating and paddle boarding on the waters of the picturesque lake, as well as walks around the scenic shore. Children are encouraged to join the fun of the Kid’s Club, where great friends and new memories are made, while teens can enjoy days out together.

Around Aurilandes Campsite
Enjoy the unspoiled natural environment at peaceful Lake Aureilhan, an area primed for outdoor pursuits including fun on the water, amiable ambles in the charming woodland and days by the beach. The lovely sands of Mimizan Plage are close by, so get ready for a day of water sports and sand castle building.
If you enjoy history, you should take a visit to Château Woolsack in Mimizan, a short distance from the campsite. The former hunting lodge was built in 1911 on the shores of Lake Aureilhan by Hugh Grosvenor, the 2nd Duke of Westminster. To the north of the campsite, Parc naturel régional des Landes de Gascogne is a beautiful ecological park with nice walks through flora and fauna.
Aside from days by the beach, young campers will revel in a visit to the Landes Adventure Park or the Cercle Nautique de Mimizan water sports centre positioned on Lake Aureilhan.
