Presentation of camping Homair La Grande Métairie

With a scenic setting in a lovely corner of Brittany, 5* Campsite la Grande Metairie features first-class amenities and offers the ideal base for a camping holiday in France. The site is nestled in the stunning parkland grounds of a beautiful Breton manor house in Morbihan, immediately impressing guests with its lush surroundings and serene ambience.

One of the highlights of the campsite is the fabulous pool complex that boasts a selection of outdoor and indoor pools, as well as water slides, a Jacuzzi bath and a meandering lazy river. The sun terrace features gorgeous flowering plants and palm trees to create a tropical yet tranquil environment.

The heart of the campsite beats with active campers, seeking out the next adventure, game or activity to try. Children will revel in games and sports tournaments at the immensely fun Teen & Kids Clubs, where they can rub shoulders with other youngsters while playing sports, treasure hunting and dancing. There’s much more to keep the whole family entertained including a mini farm, playground, library, treetop adventure park and mini golf course.

For the 2024 season, an acro games playground has been installed:

The site is packed with a range of first-class facilities, with dining options including a bakery, mini market, bar and restaurant. Start your day off with some freshly baked croissants and end your day with some lovely cuisine made using local produce. The takeaway is ideal for lazy dinners in your accommodation.

Our spacious and well-shaded emplacements are host to a wonderful range of accommodation options including luxury mobile homes featuring hot tubs. With convenient amenities, spacious living areas and sun decks, our mobile home are the perfect home away from home. We also have tents for a rustic camping experience, as well as pitches with electricity and water.

Around Homair La Grande Métairie

This site has a majestic setting in the Carnac area where you can marvel at the many standing stones, some of which are opposite the site. Carnac Ville is around a five minute drive from site and offers some facilities. Carnac Plage is a few minutes drive further on, offering many shops, bars and restaurants. The closest beach is Men-Du which is around ten minutes by car and has a small island which can be reached at low tide.

The Carnac area is rich in Menhirs and dolmens dating from the Neolithic times, between 5000 and 3000BC. The visitor centre in Carnac has some enlightening information. It is worth driving to the north of Carnac to see the Tumulus de Kercado - one of the oldest megalithic structures in the world.
