Presentation of camping Via Romana

Campsite Via Romana is located on the Costa Serana plains in the small village of Casamozza di Fium’Orbu. Sandwiched between stunning mountains and the Mediterranean Sea, the campsite is in a secluded yet easily accessible location and provides a great base for exploring the delights of Corsica.

The campsite is just 3 miles from a huge sandy beach. While it may be hard to tear yourself away from the glittering Mediterranean Sea, there’s also three small swimming pools and a children’s paddling pool on site. The great range of leisure facilities includes volleyball, tennis, boules and table tennis.

If you’re looking for more adventure, there is horse riding, sailing, treetop aerial adventure and canyoning available within a short drive from the campsite.

A selection of restaurants and other options for eating can be found in the local area, while on the site itself campers can make use of the bar, snack bar, takeaway and pizzeria.

With spacious living areas and a selection of convenient amenities, you’ll be comfortable in our range of mobile homes. Situated in leafy green and private emplacements, you can relax and enjoy the company of your family in peace.

Around Via Romana

Via Romana is situated in Costa Serena (near Ghisonaccia) on the Bastia-Bonifacio axis. From here, you’ll able to take a return trip to any point on the island within a day.

Head two hours west to Ajaccio, Corsica’s capital and Napoléon’s birthplace. The town’s rich heritage includes a citadel and cathedral. The fine arts museum houses a highly regarded collection of Italian Renaissance paintings.

Nature lovers can head for the mountains for breath taking views of the coast, where turquoise seas are juxtaposed with white sandy beaches.

To the south, Bonifacio is a lovely medieval town and the oldest town in Corsica. It is situated on the cliffs of a limestone peninsula above a natural harbour on the site of a 9th century citadel. It’s a mix of resort, medieval town, stunning views and beaches, make it one of the unmissable highlights of your trip to Corsica.
