Occupying grounds that spread out over 10-hectares with fragrant pine and olive trees, 4* Campsite Homair La Baie des Anges offers quality coastal holidays in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of southern France Conveniently located between the vibrant city of Marseilles and the naval port of Toulon, the campsite has an enviable settings close to the pristine waters of the Mediterranean Sea.

La Baie des Anges benefits from a generous amount of sunshine, and the best place to soak up the rays is at the campsite’s inviting pool complex. Featuring a good-sized main pool and a pair of paddling pools, there’s something for each and every member of the family. Kids who love to make a splash will especially love whooshing down the dual track water slide!

Will you start your day at the swimming pool or will you seek out the other activities offered by the campsite? If it’s the latter, you can play tennis, petanque, ping pong or a variety of sports on the multisport ground. Back at the pool, campers can enjoy Aquagym and Aquafun classes, as well as swimming lessons. For competitive campers, why not participate in one of the sports tournaments arranged by the energetic staff.

If you are travelling with the kids, you won’t have to worry that they will get bored. Simply lead them to the outdoor playground or have them sign up for one of the children’s clubs. With a Kid’s Club for 4-11 year olds and a Teen Club for 12-17 year olds, youngsters of all ages are well-catered for at La Baie des Anges. For adults as well as children, the evening entertainment typically features live shows, dance parties and theme evenings.

Around Homair La Baie des Anges

Given the picturesque location of the campsite, it would be a missed opportunity if you didn’t visit some of the blissfully beautiful beaches close to La Baie des Anges. The nearest beach to the site is Plage d'Arène Cros, but the soft golden sands at Plage du Liouquet and Plages des Lecques are also worth visiting.

The campsite lies in the middle of a sweeping bay that features two interesting towns, one at each end of the bay. In La Ciotat, you can Ciotaden Musem and the Jardin de la Ville, before heading to the tip of the peninsula to explore the Parc du Mugel Botanical Park and the Calanque de Figuerolles. In Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer, kids will love a stop at Aqualand Water Park while grown-ups may appreciate a day trip to the winery at Château des Baumelles.

To sprawling areas of natural beauty are located near the campsite. On the coast, Massif des Calanques is a dramatic coastal national park with rugged clifftops and impossibly emerald waters. Venture into the heartland of the region for adventures in the mountains of the Sainte-Baume ridge.

For a cosmopolitan day out, plan a trip to the vibrant port city of Marseilles, where you can enjoy fantastic dining and shopping experiences along with excellent tourist attractions like the the Museum of Civilizations of Europe and the Mediterranean, Notre-Dame de la Garde Basilica, the Vallon des Auffes fishing village and much more.
