The swimming complex at the campsite, is simply sublime. There’s a large indoor heated pool with no fewer than three jacuzzi baths, and an extensive outdoor aquatic area where the water fun really begins. Along with a spacious sun terrace and three swimming pools, you’ll discover a colourful splash playground for tots and a selection of water slides including a fantastic 65m slide and the “Crazy River” ride. It’s a wonderful water wonderland for young and old alike!

New for 2025 is the addition of a fast racing slide and an enclosed slide! This expansion brings even more water fun to camping Saint Avit Loisirs. The new water slides are expected to open on 4 April 2025.

Saint Avit Loisirs is a hive of activity where the opportunity to fill your days with new and exciting things is always possible. Busy bees can enjoy several sports such as volleyball, basketball and football, along with fun pastimes like petanque, ping-pong and mini golf. Young holidaymakers can also hit the bullseye at the archery range, play pinball in the games room or bouncy on over to the trampolines.

And that’s not all! The campsite staff, who are energetic and enthusiastic, organise fun activities in the day such as aquagym and sports tournaments, as well as creative and exciting mini club for 4-11 year olds. When the sun sets, the evening entertainment begins and typically comprises of themed meals, dance parties, live shows and much more.

As expected of a camping holiday destination boasting a five star rating, Saint Avit Loisirs has a wealth of facilities and services that include an inviting restaurant with a pizzeria, a bar, snack bar, ice cream shop and mini market. Bicycle hire, BBQ hire, and baby kit hire are also available.

Around Homair St. Avit Loisirs

Nature is king in Dordogne, and the area all around the campsite is one giant playground where active campers can enjoy all manner of outdoor activities. There are a couple of hiking loops that start from the campsite, as well as plenty of picturesque places for a cycling excursion.

You can enjoy a spot of peaceful fishing at the campsite or on the meandering bends of the Dordogne River. Another great way to explore the river and its surroundings is by enjoying a kayaking trip on the water or a horse-riding trek along the banks.

In the wider region, you will find a vast amount of historical and cultural tourist attractions such as the charming town of Sarlat, the horticultural havens of the Gardens of Marqueyssac, the Châteaus of Beynac and numerous grottos, caves and caverns that are abundant in Dordogne.
