Camping Le Ventoulou

The campground has a heated indoor pool, a children's pool, a game room, a bar, a restaurant and a pizzeria. You can play table tennis, bocce and volleyball, stretch your legs on the multi-purpose sports field or take a walk along one of the marked hiking trails. The area offers many other facilities such as tennis, golf, horseback riding, climbing, canoeing and kayaking, etc. In high season, an animation team is on hand to entertain the children. In the Kids' Club (5-12 years old) children can participate in various activities and creative workshops. In high season there is also an evening program for adults.

The Dordogne Valley, which is included in the list of extraordinary sights of the Central Pyrenees, is certified as an art-historical region.

Here you will find, for example, the famous Rocamadour, set against a high cliff where it towers 150 meters above the Alzou Valley. The Dordogne also has some of the most beautiful villages, castles, fortified towns, Romanesque churches and characteristic houses in France.

Go visit Rocamadour in the morning and have lunch there and then visit the Lacave caves. Nice and cool in hot weather and also a good day trip with bad weather. Here a little train will take you into the cave. You will also be impressed by the spectacular Gouffre de Padirac, which you reach via a 75-meter-long natural cave and tunnels created over thousands of years by a mysterious underground river.
