Camping Le Village du Port

At Camping Le Village du Port there is plenty of water fun for the whole family with 2 beautiful pool areas, both with a separate children's pool with a water depth of 40 cm. The large pool is open from July to August and has an island in the middle with a bridge that varies in depth from 1 metre to 1.6 meters. You can also swim laps in the 13.5 x 6-meter pool overlooking the Dordogne River or relax in the outdoor spa. The pools are heated by the sun and you can also enjoy the sun from a lounger. Swimming in the Dordogne River is allowed at the campground, where you can enjoy the clear water from the pebble beach, fish or take a trip up and down the river in a canoe/kayak.

After enjoying yourself by the pool, it's time for some action. For example, play padel, volleyball or table tennis at the campground. There is also a basketball, tennis and petanque court that is lit up at night. Children have fun playing all day long in the playground with slides and swings, while you enjoy the wellness centre with sauna, balneotherapy and massage. If you're hungry, you can grab a bite to eat with a glass of wine in the beautiful old barn, where you'll also find a store selling local products such as wine, honey and cheese. If you are travelling or want to start the day pleasantly, you can order breakfast and picnic baskets at the campground.

Camping Le Village du Port is ideally located if you want to experience authentic France. From the campsite, it is only 11 kilometres to the pilgrimage town of Rocamadour, where the town seems to grow out of the rocks. You can also visit the towns of Sarlat (38 km) and Martel (10 km). In addition, the area is known for its caves, the most popular of which are the caves of Lacave (6 km) and the Gouffre de Padirac (18 km), where you can sail into the cave. Of course, the Dordogne River also offers numerous adventures, from gentle boat rides to a more action-packed river rafting trip. If you are travelling with children, take them to the Gramat Zoo or the Prehisto Dino Park amusement park.
