Or choose a day out from the overwhelming offer of amusement and adventure parks. Head inland into the mountains for a spectacular drive through the varied nature of Les Albères. A day of shopping in Perpignan with its rich history is not to be missed either. Tip: the greats perform at the Déferlantes d'Argelès-sur-Mer music festival (early July).
