Located in the sunny Aude department of Occitanie in the south of France, Campsite Novela Port la Nouvelle welcomes you to a serene setting close to the Mediterranean Sea. Ideal for families looking for a relaxing outdoor escape, a stay at the resort rewards campers with a chance to explore beautiful Languedoc-Roussillon.
Alongside the swimming pool with adjoining paddling area for young swimmers, the campsite has a playground for children and a pitch for games of petanque with the family. With bicycle hire available from the reception, you can peddle out into the lovely landscapes of the local area. Offsite activities near the resort include jet skiing, paddle boarding, kitesurfing and kayaking at the beach.
Whilst you have to venture into the town of Port-la-Nouvelle to find restaurants and supermarkets, the campsite does have a bar, an ice cream stand, snack bar and takeaway onsite. BBQ rental is available to campers who wish to grill some burgers and sausages from the comfort of their accommodation.

An equally gorgeous beach can be found further up the coast at Narbonne Plage.
The Narbonnaise en Méditerranée Natural Regional Park is a protected area of natural beauty that’s home to lagoons, islands, hiking trails, vineyards and wildlife. Children will enjoy a visit to the see the animals at Réserve Africaine de Sigean or whizzing down the water slides at Aqua Jet Water Park.
For sightseeing opportunities in an urban environment, the town of Narbonne offers interesting cultural spots including the Cathédrale Saint-Just et Saint-Pasteur, Roman Granary Museum and Museum of Art and History of Narbonne.
