Really enjoy this 4 star campsite in Languedoc-Roussillon! The medium-sized campsite Plein Air des Chênes is only 15 kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea and just above the beautiful city of Montpellier, on the outskirts of the village of Clapiers. Escape the worst crowds of the coastal region and enjoy the beautiful hinterland. Yet not far from the vast beaches.

Pools, water slides and a hellish blue sea! Swimming opportunities are plentiful here. First is the heated large lagoon pool with waterfalls and slides. The children are sure to have fun in the fun children's pool with all kinds of play equipment and fountains. Nearby are also small rivers where children can build dams to their heart's desire.

Besides swimming fun, the campsite and the Languedoc-Roussillon have much more to offer. All kinds of activities are organized such as aquagym, fitness, nature trips... Or how about table tennis, basketball or mini-golf? There is plenty to do on the campsite, but also in the area.

Crazy about water? Go supping, kite surfing, windsurfing or jet skiing. Challenge each other on the go-kart track, golf course, skating rink or bowling alley. What a choice! You can even go to the farm around the corner to ride on a horse or pony through the beautiful countryside.

Once you get back, you must be hungry. In the campsite's restaurant you can enjoy, on the terrace or inside, tasty dishes. If you want to do takeout, you will have plenty of choice. During the day all kinds of activities are organized and in the evening you can enjoy a show or listen to the performance of a nice band.

The accommodations offer peace, space and privacy. They are all located on shady areas among the beautiful trees. Choose one of five types of mobile homes or go for a real glamping experience in the luxurious Safari Lodge tent. Based on the number of people and bedrooms needed, choose the perfect place for you and enjoy camping with the luxury of home.

Surroundings of Camping Plein Air Des Chênes

In the surroundings of the Plein Air des Chênes campsite there are plenty of nice trips to make. Of course a trip to the Mediterranean is not to be missed, the beaches of Carnon, Palavas or La Grande Motte are not far away! The city of Montpellier is also worth a visit. The city is really surprising and there is so much to see!

In Montpellier you will find many restaurants, hidden in the narrow roads in the city center. But of course it is also great to cook your own food with products from a local market and then enjoy it on your terrace!

Beautiful medieval villages are numerous. Of course, Aigues-Mortes in the Camargue is a wonderful example. In this area you can take a boat trip, see wild bulls and horses, and just be out in nature spotting lots of pink flamingos!

A little more inland, you come to the Cevennes where you can take wonderful walks. Also visit the Pont du Gard, near Remoulins. This is an architectural highlight built by the Romans.

You can go to the market almost every day in one of the villages or towns in the area. Perhaps a chance to buy a nice souvenir for home? All in all, plenty of opportunities to not get bored during your fantastic vacation at or near Plein Air des Chênes campsite!
