Just 3 kilometres from the campsite, the medieval castle of Sillé rises above the town: during the summer months, knights, jugglers and craftsmen come to life here during animations and events, a feast for curious children. Nature lovers plan an evening guided walk in the nearby forest, where in September the belling of red deer sounds - a moment that families won't soon forget. If you want a day of city atmosphere, drive to Le Mans with its beautiful walled old town, museums and famous race track, a nice change after all the forest and lake adventures.
