The name of this first-rate resort gives you a clue about the local area: you’ll stumble upon countless castles nearby. This young family campground is located near a modest castle-like mansion and just 500 meters away from the entrance to Château de Chambord, one of the most famous castles in the Loire that will leave you speechless.

The swimming complex will make everyone happy, and includes a children's pool, lagoon pool, lane pool, family pool, lazy river and water slides. There is an indoor area with a heated pool. Of course, you can enjoy the French sunshine from the comfort of the loungers.

After swimming and a tasty lunch, it's time for a game of tennis or soccer. Or climb, scramble and swing at the playground. It's all possible. A château campsite would not live up to its name without a fun bouncy castle. Did you know that Château des Marais rents out go-karts and bicycles with child seats and helmets? A bike ride along the Loire or on the 'neighbors' estate is highly recommended!

For both shopping and dining you don't have to leave the campsite. There is a mini-supermarket for daily necessities and take-away for an easy meal. There is also an on-site restaurant. Enjoy French cuisine on the terrace after a wonderful day out or choose an International dish thanks to the varied menu.

Our accommodation options are quiet, surrounded by greenery and offer plenty of privacy. There are six different types of mobile home, or you can choose the luxurious Safari Lodge tent. All accommodation options have a private bathroom and kitchen.
