A five-star camping holiday experience awaits at Homair Le Domaine de la Brèche, a wonderful family-friendly destination situated in the heart of Loire Valley, nestled against the meandering bends of the eponymous river. For a relaxing rural retreat in the charming countryside of France, there are few better places than this excellent site that features a top-class aquatic area, numerous services and a great selection of accommodations.

Fully heated and featuring a wealth of aquatic amenities, the swimming pool complex at the campsite extends over 500m² and will delight holidaymakers of all ages. Discover a pair of outdoor heated pools alongside a paddling pool and splash playground, as well as an indoor heated pool and a selection of water slides. Active campers can enjoy aquagym sessions in the pool, while relaxed holidaymakers can soak up the sun from the spacious pool terrace. New for 2024: a new waterpark!

The activities on offer at Homair Le Domaine de la Brèche are wonderfully varied and include exciting recreation such as tennis, mini golf, petanque and fishing. The site boasts its own equestrian centre so horse riding is a nice little activity for the kids. Youngsters can also jump around on the bouncy castle, clambering on the outdoor playground and play video games and pinball in the arcade.

Activities for all include sports tournaments and petanque competitions, as well as water games and a vibrant kids club for the youngest of children (3-8 years old). Running in Jul/Aug, the Mini Club is organised by the attentive and welcoming staff, who oversee activities such as colouring in and crafting, sports competitions and much more. Evening entertainment at Le Homair Le Domaine de la Brèche is lively and features a variety of shows and themed parties.

Around Homair Le Domaine de la Brèche

The campsite lies within the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Regional Nature Park, an area of varying landscapes where you can enjoy a diverse array of outdoor activities. Some of the best things to do in the park include taking a guided tour, river canoeing, hiking, mountain biking and much more.

The Loire valley is the land of castles, and during your stay you can visit many marvellous chateaux showcasing a rich architectural heritage. We recommend planning a day trip to one or a few of the following brilliant buildings: Château de Saumur, Château de Brézé, Château de Montreuil-Bellay and Château du Coudray Montpensier.

Le Domaine de la Brèche is a great base for side trips to some of the region’s nicest towns. Head across the river to visit Saumur with its vineyards and wine cellars, or plan an excursion to Angers to see its 13th century fortress and Terra Botanica, a fun plant-themed leisure park. To the west in the town of Tours, you can see an abundance of historical attractions such as Saint-Gatien Cathedral, the Fine Arts Musem, Château de Tours and Saint-Martin de Tours Basilica.
