Camping L'Etang de Sologne

Water fun is guaranteed at L'Etang de Sologne. The campground is located right on a lake with a private beach, where you can also go stand-up paddleboarding. Enjoy a walk, watch the waterfowl, or relax under the chestnut and oak trees. Especially on warm days, this is the ideal spot to lie back, read, or have a picnic. On cooler days, the whole family can swim and play water polo in the heated municipal indoor pool with a separate children’s area across from the campsite. Admission is free.

This campsite offers an extensive entertainment program (July and August). Activities take place both indoors and outdoors, as there is an arcade and a mini-golf course for some fun variety. In the evenings, the kids’ club offers a lively entertainment programme. For active vacationers, there’s bike rental and various sports facilities such as soccer, table tennis, bocce, and much more. A small shop on the campground provides you with essential groceries during your stay. There is also a snack bar for takeout meals, should you not feel like cooking. Afterward, you can enjoy a glass of wine or a soft drink at the bar and end the day in peace and quiet.

Camping L'Etang de Sologne is located in the heart of the Centre-Val-de-Loire region, one of the most beautiful and diverse regions in France, south of Paris. The area is characterized by its river valley and numerous picturesque lakes. The natural surroundings invite you to take long walks and extended bike rides. Among the lakes and rivers, you’ll find countless small villages with specialty shops and wine bars. By the way: a trip to the vineyards isn’t just interesting for adults. The Loire region is also home to many famous historic cities such as Tours and Orléans. The latter is considered the capital of the Loire Valley. You can also visit various castles in the area.
