Located in an area of outstanding beauty, 500m above sea level, Campsite Homair Les Gorges de Provence is a wonderful spot for a relaxing holiday in nature. This 4-star destination occupies a scenic patch of land close to the Gorges du Verdon in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence of France. The relaxing atmosphere, beautiful scenery, and gentle scent of the nearby lavender fields combine for a fantastic holiday to please all of your senses.

Campers can enjoy spending the first few hours of their stay relaxing on the sun terrace by the pool complex, which comprises a main pool and an adjacent paddling pool. There is no shortage of options for fun in the water, as the campsite is within easy reach of the emerald green waters of the Verdon River. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the cooling waters before some kayaking and pedalo riding.

Active families will love the number of sports and games available onsite including basketball, table tennis, petanque, football, and volleyball. The site runs an impressive animation club for kids, with respective activities set for younger and teenagers. Featuring sports contests, arts, crafts, games, and tournaments, youngsters can rub shoulders with their neighbours while having boisterous fun.

Adults are well catered for in terms of entertainment and activities onsite. Depending on what you like, you can get active with a fitness class and aqua aerobics sessions, or simply relax and recharge in the spa that features a steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi bath, and the option for a massage.

As the sun sinks below the tall pine trees, the evening entertainment starts. After savouring a delicious meal at the restaurant or pizzeria, families can enjoy live shows, music, dancing, and theme parties together. If you fancy a quiet night, stay in your accommodation and enjoy something from the takeaway, or cook a meal with produce from the grocery store or nearby mini market.

Around Homair Les Gorges de Provence

If a holiday in the heart of nature sounds like heaven, Homair Les Gorges de Provence will be Utopia for you. There are gorgeous woodlands to explore on foot or by bike, but the highlight of the local region has to be the glorious Gorges du Verdon. Carved out by the river Verdon, this impossibly beautiful canyon is impressive to view, and even better to enjoy activities in.

Enjoy adrenaline-filled days out while river rafting or Hydrospeeding, or more chilled-out activities such as lake kayaking or paddle boarding. The beach at Saint Lac De Sainte Croix offers a peaceful place for sunbathing and a picnic, while the waterfalls of Sillans are an impressive site.

The medieval town of Greoux-les-Bains lies to the west of the campsite and is worth a visit to amble around the picturesque streets or buy local produce at the vibrant market.
