Camping L'Ile des Papes

Located between the departments of Gard and Vaucluse, at the gateway to Avignon, Campsite L'île des Papes welcomes you. The four-star campsite is located on a private tree-lined island that emerges gracefully from the waters of the river Rhone, and has everything you need for a fantastic holiday in the South of France.

The sunny swimming pool consists of two different sections. One is a little deeper, while the other has shallow water making it ideal for novice swimmers. Around the water are lovely loungers to enjoy the southern French sun. Splash in the water or join the aquarobics class to keep active during your stay.

For children there is plenty of entertainment. They can let loose in the playground or jump on the bouncy castle. Organized activities are available at the Teen’s Club or Kid’s Club. During high season there is also entertainment for the whole family in the evenings such as live shows, dancing and music.

Sports and games are also plentiful L'île des Papes. Discover the traditional French game of Jeu de Boules or skip back and forth between the badminton court, the volleyball court or the ping pong table. You can also get active on the basketball court, soccer field, miniature golf course or in the games room.

You can enjoy a snack or drink at the campsite by swinging by the bar. At the restaurant, enjoy lunch or dinner with the whole family and at the campground store you can get your daily groceries. Take some goodies with you for the day trip or make a meal in your own accommodation.
