Camping Abaya

Abaya is a quiet family campsite with an extensive entertainment program on site and in the immediate vicinity. You can play volleyball, bocce ball and table tennis. There is also a large playground for the children. Should it rain, there is a game room and plenty of board games. While the children have fun on the bouncy castle, parents can enjoy a refreshing drink at the bar or a bite to eat on the sunny terrace. In high season, there is also the possibility of ordering sandwiches for catering. The nearest supermarket is just two kilometres away and can be easily reached by car or bicycle. 

Take advantage of the on-site bicycle hire to explore the beautiful surroundings of Hendaye. Head to the beach or the nearby diving centre to enjoy the sea. How about a trip to the Pyrenees? Hendaye is located in the centre of the French Basque Country, close to the Spanish border. Its location between the Pyrenees and the Atlantic coast makes it a great destination for nature lovers. Enjoy a hike to the mountain top or a long walk through the town. With its quiet coastal charm and historic old town, Hendaye invites you to stroll and explore. Drive along the coast to the Mirador de Belharra viewpoint and enjoy the cliff views. An excursion to the port of Hendaye also has its charms. From the bay, you can even see the town of Hondarribia, the border town on the Spanish side.
