In the shade of the pine trees, in the middle of nature, you will find Camping Soustons Village. This campsite is located perfectly between the Étang de Soustons and the Atlantic Ocean. The surf waves, fine sandy beaches and long rows of dunes, Les Landes is famous for it. Take the car and discover France and it's beautiful Basque Country.

Located between the beautiful lake Étang de Soustons and the Atlantic Ocean, Soustons Village offers plenty of options for water lovers. The campsite itself also has a beautiful swimming pool, where swimmers of ages have been thought of. Float on the waves of the wave pool, brave the water jets in the water playground or enjoy aqua gym in the heated indoor pool.

The campsite’s professional entertainment team will make sure that you can create fantastic vacation memories! Play a game of soccer, handball or basketball, it is all possible. Learn to dance the salsa, samba or bachata, or work out on the tennis court or in the gym with BBB, step and soft gym.

After all this working out, it’s time to relax. Allow yourself to get pampered in the wellness center. Treat yourself with a glass of champagne at the spa or opt for the special children’s package. There are also sunbeds available for you to enjoy the French sun to the fullest.

Camping Soustons Village is car-free, which adds to the serenity of the location. The accommodations are located in quiet and shady places. In fact, the campground is coloured a stunning green year-round due to the many pine trees. The accommodations are spacious, luxurious and fully equipped. Around Camping Soustons Village

You can also explore the surrounding area. There are two beautiful lakes around Camping Soustons Village. Étang de Soustons is within walking distance and Étang Blanc is a little further away. In the middle of the beautiful French Basque Country, you can drive to the region’s capital, Bayonne, in less than 45 minutes. The Spanish city Bilboa is also close and definitely worth a visit.

Bayonne is a very nice city to practice your photographing skills, with its beautiful botanical garden and cathedral. The typical Basque houses along the river Nive are also fun to photograph. Admire the half-timbering, cute window frames and the shutters painted in the national colours: red and green.

Learn more about Basque culture at the Musée Basque. Bayonne is a bustling and bubbling city, where there’s always a cause for celebration. For example, Bayonne celebrates chocolate days (Bayonne has a long history of chocolate), a cider festival and an event with crafts on the streets. If you are visiting in late July, you are especially lucky. Immerse yourself in the Fêtes de Bayonne, a thoroughly Basque celebration.

Fancy a car-trip to the Spanish city Bilboa? It is only two hours away by car. Enjoy the world-famous Guggenheim Museum, take a stroll through Casco Viejo and visit the Santiago Cathedral. Enjoy a real sangria on a Spanish terrace and explore the other museums and cosy squares.
