Camping Camping Les Places Dorées

The heated outdoor pool is big enough for laps, and slides will delight young and old alike. For the little ones, there's a secluded paddling pool with fountains, safe and fun. The beach is about 1.5km away. Cross the forest, take the dune path and suddenly find yourself with your feet in the sand. Bring buckets, spades, drinks and fruit, and you can spend hours building sand castles, paddling or flying kites. And if it gets a little too hot, head back to the campsite for an ice cream at the bar. Weather not cooperating? No problem. The indoor pool in the wellness area is a pleasant place to continue swimming, even if the weather is cloudy.

For the little ones, there's a mini-club every morning: handicrafts, games and fun. Face-painting mornings are also great fun: your children will return to the campsite as princesses or pirates! Older children and teenagers can have fun on the multi-sports field, playing soccer, volleyball or lounging in the shade. And when night falls, the whole campsite comes alive. Shows, karaoke, performances, etc.

We would like to inform you of an update regarding our entertainment programme for the coming season .From the opening of our campsites, entertainment will now be offered in low season at Camping Les Places Dorées and Camping Le Tropicana .

Mini Club :• It will be available during the April school holidays at Camping Le Tropicana;• It will also be open during long weekends at both campsites;• And may be extended if necessary, depending on attendance and the number of children present.

Evening entertainment :• Some evening entertainment will also be offered in the early season; For the Ascension Day bank holiday weekend, you can already announce that we will be hosting evening entertainment every night during this long weekend .

Daytime :• Activities such as stretching, aquagym and muscle toning will be offered every week in the early season

For parents, there are lovely deckchairs by the pool and a good restaurant where you can eat delicious local dishes. Add a glass of rosé and you won't need to move. 

From the campsite, you can go directly to Saint-Jean-de-Monts, a lively resort with pretty stores and a child-friendly beach. Every Wednesday, there's a market - you can buy the tastiest grilled chicken and fresh strawberries for a picnic. A 25-minute drive away, you'll find Atlantic Toboggan, a water park where even children become children again. High slides, rapids and a wave pool: a great fête.

You can also take a boat trip to l'île d'Yeu, a magnificent natural area with craggy rocks and tranquil bays. Another fun activity is the Explora Parc adventure park in the Saint-Jean-de-Monts forest. Tree climbing, archery or laser gaming: ideal for an active day out with the family.
