Domaine le Midi is a large family campsite located on the French island of Noirmoutier in Pays de la Loire the region. Welcoming you to explore the French west coast, the site is situated in Vendée, the perfect destination for a sunny stay in France.

The campsite has two swimming pools including a heated indoor pool with paddling pool and a large outdoor pool. The indoor pool opens in sunny weather. After a refreshing dip, there is plenty of room to sunbathe around the pool.

Everyone is catered for at Domaine le Midi, namely active campers and water sports enthusiasts, as well as more relaxed holidaymakers. At the beach, numerous aquatic activities can be enjoyed such as canoeing, kite surfing, paddle boarding, water skiing and much more.

The campground itself also caters to sports enthusiasts. Here you can hit the tennis court, join the aqua gym, play a game of miniature golf, table tennis or bocce. For those who prefer to relax, there is the opportunity to enjoy wonderful massages.

For the little campers there is plenty to do together with the kid’s club. They can go wild while building tree houses and other activities on the daily program. There are also several playgrounds where the children can have fun for hours, but the bouncy castle and trampolines are also a big hit among the little campers. In the evening, the whole family can enjoy entertaining shows and live music.

Around Campsite Domaine le Midi

Immerse yourself in island life at Domaine le Midi campsite. The island of Noirmoutier has about ten thousand inhabitants and the island consists of three different parts. The north is known for its rocks, in the middle are salt marsh terraces and the south has many pine trees. The island is great to explore by bicycle, which you can rent at the campground.

The campsite is located in a large nature reserve managed by the French Forestry Commission. The attraction of the island of Noirmoutier is therefore its variety of landscapes. Explore the vast forests, salt pans and oyster beds to learn more about the island's nature. Also, don't forget to visit the picturesque fishing villages. Each of these is worth visiting.

The small island has four villages, the largest being Noirmoutier-en-îlle. This village is full of different restaurants, ice cream parlours and stores. For larger towns, you must leave the island via the bridge, which connects the island to the mainland.

By car, you can reach the large city of Nantes within an hour and a half. The smaller city of Challans is within 45 minutes by car. The Océanile water park is a 10-minute drive from Camping Domaine le Midi.
