Is the weather a bit off? No worries. Then just dive into the indoor pool, where you can swim, bubble and play to your heart's content even with fewer hours of sunshine. And that beach is literally around the corner. Just walk out of the street and hop onto the sand. The sea is calm here, ideal for paddling or searching for shells with your little one, while the older children have fun with a bodyboard or sand castle competitions.

This campground is all about fun and entertainment. The animation team knows exactly how to make children happy. From crafts to water games, and from sports tournaments to mini discos – it's all in there. The little ones enjoy the morning activities, while the older kids have a great time at the table tennis table and volleyball games.

The evenings come alive with karaoke, shows and dancing. And while the children are having fun with their vacation friends, you can spend some time at the bar, in the restaurant or enjoying the evening air on the terrace of your mobile home. And because the campsite is located in the village, you can easily walk with z'all at your leisure to the port.

Because here comes the extra fine: in just a few minutes, you are already in the centre of Jard-sur-Mer. You can choose to walk along the beach or through a cosy street. At the harbour you will find cosy restaurants, ice cream stores and terraces. Fresh fish, crêpes, pizzas – whatever you choose, you always eat with a view of the bobbing boats.

And practical? There's a convenient camp store where you get fresh bread every morning, plus all the other little things you sometimes suddenly need. Think sunscreen, diapers or that forgotten shovel for the beach.

If you want a day of something other than pool or beach, you're in the perfect place. Less than 20 kilometres away is O’Gliss Park, a spectacular water park where you can have fun with the whole family on white water rapids, wave pools and exciting slides. The kids won't get enough of it – and neither will you, secretly.

Also, Le Château des Aventuriers is a must. An adventure park with scavenger hunts, climbing courses and a prehistoric dinosaur trail. Instructive én fun.

And of course Jard-sur-Mer itself. Every week, there's a lively market where you'll score local delicacies: fresh fruit, goat cheese, and don't forget the crêpes. Stroll together through the port area, get an ice cream and enjoy the smell of the sea. A little further away is Les Sables-d’Olonne – a lively coastal town with stores, cafes and a large sandy beach.
