If holidaying by the beach sounds like your idea of fun, why not consider Campsite de Oase. Situated on the Zeeland peninsula, you are ideally located close to a lovely sandy beach as well as great cycling routes and Deltapark Neeltje Jans theme park.

Things to do when camping in Holland

As the Netherlands is a small country, you can cram plenty of things to do on a stay here. You’ll have the chance to explore the countryside or seaside whilst taking in the hustle and bustle of its vibrant cities.

The Dutch love to get on their bikes, so it’s a great idea to do as the locals to and rent a bicycle. It’s a fantastic way to explore all that the countryside has to offer. Drift along the welcoming flat roads as you pass by vibrant tulip fields, windmills and picturesque villages.

The national parks of Hoge Veluwe, Lauwersmeer and Dunes of Texel are scenic, serene escapes and make for wonderful walking trips. The gorgeous trees, flowers and landscapes are complemented with amazing wildlife.

Wide sandy beaches and lively seaside resorts can be found on the coast, as well as gorgeous little islands and mini peninsulas. Special mentions goes to the beach at Zandvoort aan Zee that boasts lovely sand and cool bars. On the island of Texel, day-trippers are rewarded with white sandy beaches and the chance to see some marine wildlife.

Once you have explored the countryside, you should make some time for the cities. In Amsterdam, there are amazing museums such as the Anne Frank House, Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum. Enjoy some of the café culture in between visiting the capital’s attractions before taking a canal boat trip. Other cities worth a visit include Rotterdam, Utrecht, Haarlem and Den Haag.

You’ll have a truly memorable stay when you book a camping holiday in Holland. We look forward to welcoming you to the land of windmills, tulips and stroopwafels!
