A wonderful Dutch destination where you can combine adventure, exploration, and discovery with moments of relaxation. Four-star campsite Homair Friese Meren (the new name of campsite 't Hop) is situated in a rural location in beautiful Friesland. Stretching over 3.5 acres of green parkland, the campsite has a wonderful family-friendly atmosphere with excellent facilities and a large selection of accommodations.

The indoor heated pool complex appeals to young and old alike and ensures you can swim in any weather. With a spacious main pool and a separate paddling pool, there is plenty of room to swim for campers of all ages. Water fun doesn't begin and end at the pool, as guests can also canoe in the canal near the campsite. Homair Friese Meren encourages campers to get active, including soccer on the green lawn and table tennis on the ping pong tables. For children, there is a colourful playground with swings, seesaws, climbing frames, and slides. 

A fun activity to enjoy with the family, in addition to canoeing, is biking along the rural roads surrounding the campsite on one bike hired in front of the reception desk. The lake, Slotermeer, is a relaxing body of water where those seeking peace can fish.

Homair Friese Meren has an inviting restaurant with a terrace, where you can enjoy a family meal. The restaurant also offers a takeaway service, and fresh bread is available at the reception. The campsite also has a snack bar, a mini supermarket, and a bar.

The surroundings of the campsite are blessed with green meadows, canals, lakes and forests. This creates a serene atmosphere that flows through Homair Friese Meren. It is the perfect setting for a peaceful vacation, where you can rest and relax in a range of inviting and spacious accommodations.
