There are interesting places to visit in all directions: beautiful nature reserves, charming towns and villages and fun attractions all within easy reach. Visit fishing villages and towns along the river IJssel, amusement parks and zoos, the Zwolse Bos and National Park De Hoge Veluwe.

Visit interesting villages and the centuries-old Hattem Fort, or go shopping in big cities like Arnhem, Zwolle or Deventer. Apeldoorn, just a 20-minute drive away, has three major attractions: the Apenheul, the Koningin Julianatoren amusement park and Paleis het Loo. A visit to Paleis het Loo is a special experience not to be missed. Hattem has three interesting museums waiting to be discovered. Take a walk in the forest around camping De Jagerstee. A visit to the 5,500-hectare De Hoge Veluwe National Park is a must.

Try the climbing routes through the trees at Klimbos in Ermelo. Fun for the whole family is guaranteed. Klimbos Ermelo Outdoor Climbing Center is surrounded by forest on the beautiful Veluwe.
