Around Tahiti Campsite

Located in the lovely province of Ferrara, Tahiti guarantees sunny seaside days out due to the fact it has a pleasant private beach. Situated 800m from the campsite, the beach can be reached by jumping on the small train that is free to ride for guests.

Tahiti is also a great base for enjoying many excellent sightseeing opportunities in Emilia-Romagna. The best natural place to discover is the nearby Po Delta, a wonderful UNESCO heritage site that is best traversed on foot, by boat or by bike. It’s also possible, if you start your day early enough, to take a boat trip from Chioggia to the captivating floating city of Venice. The best child-friendly attraction in the local area has to be Mirabilandia Amusement Park.

The best places to soak up the history, culture and heritage of Emilia-Romagna is in the beautiful city of Bologna, whose star attractions include the Two Towers, Piazza Maggiore, Basilica di San Petronio and the Fountain of Neptune.

A new water park will be built at the Tahiti campsite, which should open at the end of July 2026 - but a firm opening date is not yet set pending completion. Use of the new water park will be subject to a fee. Note that there will be a charge for entry to the waterpark: Day rates in high season = 7€ for children 3-10 years, 10€ for 11+ Customers on site can also purchase a waterpark pass for the duration of their stay (pricing is dynamic but will likely range from 25 - 40€ for adults, 15 - 25€ for children) The existing water park will remain open and free of charge for guests of the facility.
