As soon as the sun begins to shine, children and parents alike flock to the pool. The spacious pool is ideal for cooling off, taking a swim or just floating around. For the little ones, there is a separate paddling pool where they can splash around safely under the watchful eye of mom or dad. Around the pool is a green sunbathing area with deck chairs and umbrellas - perfect for unwinding with a book, or for a nap in the sun. But the real water adventure awaits a few steps from your accommodation: the campsite's private beach. Soft, golden sand, a gently sloping seabed (so safe for young children) and plenty of space everywhere to perch with your towel or on a luxury lounger. There is even a separate dog beach, including access to the water, so your four-legged friend can enjoy it too. While the kids build sandcastles or play beachball, you sip a refreshing Aperol spritz at the beach bar.

At Camping Village Grande Italia, no day is ever the same. While you quietly wake up with a fresh cappuccino from the restaurant, the children can already attend the Mini Club (4-9 years) or Junior Club (10-13 years). Think creative craft hours, treasure hunts, sports tournaments and of course the famous mini disco in the evening. For older children as well as adults, there are sports activities such as beach volleyball, yoga and aquarobics. And in the evening? Then the campsite buzzes with shows, karaoke and theme nights. That moment when your child proudly stands on stage during the talent show? Unforgettable. For those who like convenience, there is plenty of everything: a well-stocked mini market with fresh bread and cornetti in the morning, a restaurant with Italian classics, and a beach bar for quick snacks or an ice cream in between.

Just a 10-minute walk and you are in the centre of Sottomarina, with its pleasant promenade, playgrounds, ice cream parlours and night markets full of handmade souvenirs. Walk a little further, and you'll end up in Chioggia: a charming town with bridges, colourful houses and a fishing port that seems straight out of a painting. And then, of course, there is Venice. From the campsite, you can reach this world-famous city by ferry in about half an hour. Get lost together in the alleys, watch a gondola glide by, eat a pizza in a hidden square - memories for life. Prefer a day of activity? Nearby, you will find fun cycling routes along the coast or a visit to the Delta del Po nature reserve. And if you want to take the water fun up a notch, you can go to Caribe Bay in Jesolo (about 30 km away) - a spectacular water park for all ages.
