The 4-star Resort Riva di Ugento is located between Gallipoli and S. Maria di Leuca on the Solento peninsula, in the heel of Italy's boot Puglia, in the middle of a magnificent pine forest right on a beautiful, Caribbean-style beach with white sand and a shimmering turquoise sea. A wonderful place for a camping vacation with family, friends or as a couple.

 

Water fun at Camping Riva di Ugento

This beautiful beach with its impressive dunes of fine, white sand and crystal clear waters ranging from dark blue to turquoise can easily rival the tropical dream beaches of the world. Rent umbrellas and sun beds at the beach restaurant or at the beach bar, where you can get refreshing drinks, snacks and lunch/dinner at the same time. Near the bar is the water sports center, where you can book boat trips and rent various types of boats and windsurfing equipment. The resort's swimming pool has a large pool and a wading pool for smaller children. Deck chairs and umbrellas are available on the surrounding sun terrace.

Facilities and entertainment at Camping Riva di Ugento

In order not to miss out on your sports program during your camping vacation, Riva di Ugento offers hard tennis courts, soccer, basketball, beach volleyball and table tennis. A fitness trail through the pine forest and dunes offers an exercise program suitable for all ages and fitness levels. In July and August, you can participate in free Kundalini yoga classes and meditation every day. In June there is even a Mediterranean Kundalini Yoga Festival. At Camping Riva di Ugento you will lack nothing. For your daily needs you will find a supermarket, a drugstore, a bazaar, a boutique, a beauty center and many more services. In the center of the resort you will find a restaurant with a pizzeria and a café. This is also where the evening entertainment takes place. But also during the day, the dedicated entertainment team is ready for you and the children by organizing games and tournaments, costume parties and small performances. To make friends and meet peers, there is the playground and a playroom.

Near Camping Riva di Ugento

Although Camping Riva di Ugento is located far in the south of Italyë in Apulia, you have many opportunities to round off your vacation with beautiful day trips. Lovers of culture, history and architecture will find happiness in Gallipoli and S. Maria di Leuca, which can be reached in half an hour, and Lecce and Otranto, which can be reached in less than an hour. Also visit the historic villages of Specchia and Presicce, considered the most beautiful in Italyë. Nature lovers should discover the 1600-hectare Parco Naturale Regionale Litorale di Ugento while hiking. Be enchanted by the variety of flora and fauna. The Splash Parco Acquatico water park and the Salentina go-kart track will get your blood flowing. Your kids will also enjoy a visit to the Fasanolandia zoo.
