    Benefits

    • Attractive agriturismo with camping
    • Swimming among the olive trees
    • Taste the flavors of culinary Sicily
    • Close to historic center of Trapani

Among palm and olive trees, on the flanks of Monte Erice and close to Trapani, lies Glamping Agriturismo Duca di Castelmonte. Here you stay around a traditional baglio: a Sicilian farmhouse with a courtyard where you can almost touch history. At the same time, you feel comfort everywhere. Think atmospheric glamping suites among fruit trees, warm colours on the walls, mosaics and art. This is Sicily with a soft, luxurious edge.

Water fun at Agriturismo Duca di Castelmonte

On a hot summer day, the pool is the beating heart. The water shimmers among the greenery of palms and olive trees, and next to it is a fine sunbathing spot where you plop down with your book. A little float, then a cool glass of wine in the sun ... and your head is clear again. Fancy a dip in the sea? The sandy beach is about 6 km away. One of those beaches where your kids will start running immediately, even before you get out of your flip-flops. Bring a bag with towels and something tasty, and you'll have a wonderful day at the beach. Back at the agriturismo, the pool awaits like a fresh "reset button". Ideal if your family likes to alternate.

Amenities and entertainment at Agriturismo Duca di Castelmonte

This is one of those places where kids will naturally start playing outside. There is a playground, room to run and a farm environment that stimulates curiosity. A quick visit to the animals, then a look at the vegetable garden. For athletic families, a multi-sport court is available. Soccer, basketball, volleyball or tennis: let the energy flow. Very handy if you have teenagers who can only really relax after a game of sports. And if you want to slow down, take a bike. Ride around the grounds or explore the surroundings. The courtyard, the warm wall colours, mosaics and art: there is something to discover everywhere. There is even a mini-museum about farm life. Fun to walk through together, and children often find it surprisingly interesting because it's all "real." And then the food... At Ristorante del Duc,a it's all about traditional family recipes, using products from the land as well as fresh ingredients. The delicious pizzas come richly topped with toppings from the garden. Also nice: there is a bar and lounge for an after-dinner drink, or just for that one quiet moment while the kids chat.

Near Agriturismo Duca di Castelmonte

Around Trapani, western Sicily awaits you. Trapani itself is fine for an afternoon strolling through the old town and along the sea. But the trip that impresses is Erice. Take the cable car from Trapani and float up to a medieval village full of narrow streets and views that will give you pause. Like stepping into a movie set together. In the mood for water and adventure? Hop on a boat to the Egadi Islands. Clear bays, a day at sea and that feeling of "we are really away." For beach lovers, San Vito lo Capo is a must for a day of sand and swimming. And those who love wine are in the right place: the area around Trapani is known for vineyards and wineries where you can taste local flavours. Another typical getaway: the salt pans near Trapani, with windmills and the work of salt makers. You can see white salt mountains glistening in the sun and smell the sea in the air. These are those moments you'll talk about later at the table. In short: Duca di Castelmonte feels like a warm Sicilian embrace. Space, nature, good food and plenty to do for children.
