Things to do when camping in Veneto

Book a camping holiday in Veneto and the possibilities are endless. Depending on which one of our fantastic resorts you choose, you can enjoy lakeside sojourns, blissful beach breaks and cultural city side trips.

We have a stunning selection of campsites perched on the inviting waters of the Adriatic, with excellent options in Cavallino-Treporti and Caorle. With access to soft golden sand beaches, campers can savour days basking under the glorious Mediterranean sun or trying a selection of water sports including sea kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, pedalo boating, windsurfing, jet skiing, snorkelling and diving. There are plenty of water parks around the area including Aquamarina Park and Aqua Park Laguna in Cavallino-Treporti and Caribe Bay in Lido di Jesolo.

Most of our resorts that lie on the idyllic shores of the Adriatic Sea are situated close enough to the wonderful city of Venice. Whether you travel by car from our campsites near Chioggia or take the waterbus across the Venetian Lagoon, you can spend an interesting and exciting day in the famous floating city.

There are numerous tourist attractions to enjoy while visiting Venice and just getting lost in the network of canals, walkways, bridges, streets and squares will live long in the memory. We’d recommend a sightseeing itinerary that includes stops at the Doge’s Palace, Grand Canal, Saint Mark’s Basilica, Saint Mark’s Square, the Bridge of Sighs and the islands of Burano and Murano.

The far western edge of Veneto kisses the shores of Lake Garda and is the meeting point with the neighbouring region of Lombardy. Perhaps the best loved and most popular of the Italian Lakes, Garda has breathtaking scenery, sparkling waters and quaint towns that decorate its shores. We have a fantastic selection of campsites in Lake Garda that make an ideal base for exploring the area and stopping by top attractions such as Gardaland Amusement Park, Sirmione Castle, Monte Baldo, Malcesine Castle and Isola Del Garda.

If you plan to stay in one of our Lake Garda resorts, you will be well placed to visit Verona, a beautiful city with gorgeous roman architecture and plenty of things to see and do. The best sightseeing opportunities in Verona include Juliet’s House, Castelvecchio, Piazza delle Erbe, Verona Arena, Giusti Gardens and the Scaliger Tombs.

So why wait, browse our extensive selection of campsites in Veneto and start planning an idyllic lakeside break, balmy beach holiday or cultural trip with your loved ones.
