After a day of exploring the rugged landscape of the natural park, it's great to relax by the campground pool. With comfortable loungers all around and plenty of sunshine, it feels like you've landed in the middle of a vacation ticket.

The beaches nearby - think tranquil Cala del Cuervo or the photogenic Mermaid Reef - are ideal for a day of building sandcastles, paddling or snorkelling together in the calm, clear waters of the Mediterranean. Still not bored? Then hop in a kayak or on a boat and explore the impressive coastline from the water. Do: a trip to Cueva de las Palomas. This piece of paradise, with crystal-clear waters and colourful marine life, is a dream for young adventurers and nature lovers.

For the kids, there's the fun Kids & Teens Club: a place where they do crafts, play games and, above all, make new vacation friends. And while they have fun under supervision, you finally have time to open that book or quietly enjoy a drink.

In the evening, the campsite comes alive. The terrace overlooking the sea hosts weekly shows - live music, a warm breeze and the sun slowly sinking into the Mediterranean... All you have to do is sit back. A cool drink, a plate full of goodies, and the children happily dancing along - that's vacation as you like it best.

Pull on your hiking boots or get on your bike and follow one of the many routes that take you right through the rugged, volcanic landscape of the natural park. Along the way you'll pass viewpoints where the panorama will make you quiet - sea, mountains and a horizon that seems endless.

Fancy an outing? Then visit the fishing village of Garrucha. There it's all about shrimp - you can't get them fresher. Walk through the fish market, watch the catch being brought in and then sit down at a restaurant on the promenade. The smells of garlic, lemon and sea fill the air, and the atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed.

The beaches nearby are also all gems. Playa de los Muertos - with its azure waters - looks straight out of a movie. Or go on an adventure to the quiet coves of Cala de Enmedio and Cala del Plomo. Snorkelling, kayaking, or just lounging in the sand, you can do it all here. And if you're looking for something special, paddle out to Cala de San Pedro. Its turquoise waters, tranquillity and nature make this one of the most beautiful spots in the region.

Don't forget the local markets, either. There you will find handmade jewellery, ceramics and other souvenirs with a story. And the gastronomy? It tastes like sun and sea: Mediterranean dishes full of fresh fish, olive oil, vegetables and herbs. Every meal here feels like a party.
