Camping Esponella

Camping Esponellà entertains all ages. You can play a game of table tennis or ping-pong with your new vacation friends. A mini-golf course is also available. For children, there's a colourful playground with slides, swings and climbing frames. In high season, children's entertainment is available. There's also a well-equipped indoor recreation room. In the campsite restaurant, you can sample local dishes and enjoy a cool drink or a sweet dessert. And if you'd like to explore the surrounding area, you can hire bikes from the rental centre. You can also use the boat rental service to discover the countryside from the water.

The Catalan town of Esponell, from which the campsite takes its name, lies around 800 m away. Here you'll find cosy cafés and historic buildings. Take a look at the castle ruins, majestically overlooking the town. Esponell is nestled in the picturesque landscape of the Pyrenees, the mountain range that separates the Iberian Peninsula from the rest of Europe. This region, with its varied flora and fauna, is a paradise for hikers, mountain bikers and nature lovers.

A half-hour's drive from the campsite takes you to the city of Girona, ideal for a day trip. Visit Girona's cathedral and Sant Feliu basilica, and sample Catalan specialities in one of the city's many restaurants. You can also explore the landscapes of the Costa Brava on Spain's Mediterranean coast. With the Pyrenees in the background and craggy rocks lining the water, this 220-kilometre coastline is a true natural wonder.
