Tamarit Beach Resort is situated directly on the Costa Dorada.  The coastline is known for its beautiful, wide sandy beaches and countless opportunities for water sports. However, this beach is something special, as the historic Tamarit Castle, which towers over the bay, dates back to the eleventh century. Tamarit Beach has been awarded the blue flag for excellent water quality. Here you can relax by sunbathing or reading a book. Or are you looking for something more exciting to do? How about stand-up paddleboarding, diving, canoeing or taking a trip out with the family on a pedal? The pool complex is surrounded by a beautiful sun terrace furnished with sun loungers and sun shades. There is a paddling pool for children and a Jacuzzi for total relaxation.

You will be surprised at the vast range of leisure activities on offer at Tamarit Park Resort. You’ll quickly make friends in a game of (paddle) tennis or Minigolf, or in an exciting football match or basketball game on the multifunction sports ground. While the little ones have fun in the Miniclub and the teenagers enjoy themselves in the amphitheatre, you can optimise your holiday time in the campsite’s Spa centre.

The mini-market on the campsite will cater for your everyday needs. Here you can get a variety of food products to make a delicious meal. You can buy fresh bread and rolls in the bakery. If you are just looking to get something quick, there is also a takeaway. You should definitely try out the campsite’s own restaurants. The restaurant ‘Brisa’ is situated directly on the beach with a view of Tamarit Castle. The restaurant ‘La Carpa’ is located by the pool and will spoil you with its Mediterranean cuisine. Additionally there are four bars, one of which is a beach bar in the resort that sells snacks and drinks. You can watch live sports events on a big screen in the ‘Club’ bar.

Your choice of accommodation is between a comfortable mobile home and a cosy bungalow, each respectively for up to 5 people. Both types of accommodation are integrated perfectly into the green, exotic grounds of the resort.   The campsite is accessible by car for you to unload, but the car must be parked on a separate plot, quite close to your accommodation, at a designated spot. 

This campsite offers medium pitches up to 90 m²  and large pitches are between 90 and 120 m² providing there is space, twin axle motorhomes are welcome - please inquire with us.

The small coastal town of Altafulla is roughly two kilometres away and has remained largely untouched by tourism. In addition to its shopping opportunities, Altafulla has a medieval town centre and one of the cleanest beaches in the region. The famous city of Tarragona is only 8 kilometres away from the campsite and is particularly interesting due to its roman history. You can find many historical remains of this time period in Tarragona, for example an amphitheatre, a triumphal arch, a mausoleum and an aqueduct. The Passeig Arqueològic (the archaeological promenade) runs along the city walls and is highly impressive with its huge blocks of stone. The cultural stronghold of Barcelona is roughly 80 kilometres away. A day trip to this wonderful city is definitely worth it. Be awed by the incredible artwork of Gaudí and the lively atmosphere on Las Ramblas. Your children will undoubtedly be thrilled by a visit to PortAventura Theme Park, which is only 30 minutes’ drive from Tamarit Beach Resort.
