Water fun in summer, snow fun in winter. Winterberg is a true four-season destination. During the winter months, the area transforms into a true winter sports area. The Skiliftkarussell Winterberg is nearby and offers an extensive network of blue and red slopes, perfect for families with children or novice skiërs. Thanks to snow cannons, the slopes are easily passable from December to March. Tobogganing is also a treat here: the Bremberg has special toboggan elevators and provides guaranteed winter fun. Once the snow melts, the white world gives way to green hills, clear streams and fresh mountain air. Ideal for hiking together. In and around Winterberg, there are numerous hiking and biking trails, ranging from relaxed to sporty. For those looking for higher up, the climbing forest with treetop routes is a must. And those who like speed can toboggan down the 700-meter long toboggan run in the summer.

The apartments at the resort are modern, bright and spacious. Each apartment block has a communal sauna, a nice place to relax muscles after a day outdoors. The resort itself is quiet and uncluttered. There is a small playground for children to climb and clamber around. No crowds, but enough to enjoy playing. There is also bicycle storage, free Wi-Fi and plenty of roadside parking. Just keep in mind that the park is on a slope and the apartments are only accessible by stairs. For larger groceries, a nice lunch or a night out, the centre of Winterberg is just 1.5 kilometres away. Here you will find supermarkets, stores, a swimming pool, a bowling alley and a wide range of cosy cafés and restaurants. So no catering facilities at the park itself, but everything you need is just around the corner.

Winterberg and its surroundings have something special to offer every season. Winter is all about snow: skiingën, snowboarding, tobogganing or winter hiking on specially constructed trails. Child-friendly slopes make it ideal for families. And if you want to experience something unique, visit the Veltins EisArena, where you can learn all about bobsleighën, including a tour of the famous track. In the summer months, the Sauerland comes alive with green vistas, blooming forests and clear skies. Ideal for active vacations. Rent an e-bike or mountain bike and follow one of the trails overlooking the valley. Hike to viewpoints, or brave the treetops in the climbing park. The summer toboggan run also provides a good dose of adrenaline. For a day of culture, Berleburg Castle is highly recommended. Stroll through the castle gardens, explore the museum or enjoy a drink on the terrace. There are also several kid-friendly attractions in the region, such as the indoor playground Monkey Island, ideal for inclement weather.
