Baltic Village Ostsee is located directly on the Baltic Sea. If you want to use all the facilities of Damp such as the swimming pool, it is possible, for a fee. The first stop for families in Damp is the vast sandy beach, which of course is free. Here children can play in the sand and swim in the waves to their hearts' content. Damp also offers a range of water sports activities, from jet skiën and water go-karting to donut riding, water skiën, wakeboarding, windsurfing, stand-up paddling and kayaking. A joint sailing trip is also possible here. 

For those who prefer to swim in a pool, the Entdeckerbad is the perfect place. This tropical adventure pool has indoor and outdoor pools, slides for all ages and a spectacular light show. In addition, the Värmland, Germany's first sauna and swimming village, invites you to relax in various saunas. 

Damp is an ideal vacation centre on the Baltic Sea, where everything is easily accessible on foot or by bike. The beach offers plenty of activities such as swimming, hiking and kite flying. On the beach, kite flying is also allowed on certain stretches, so if you still have one at home, be sure to take it more, because there is always a breeze here on the coast. Furthermore, there is a fun activity centre "Dampland" with the water park "Entdeckerbad" and the indoor activity centre "Funhalla", where children can have fun with slides, climbing courses and zip lines. There is also "Wikinger Golf", a Viking-themed miniature golf course.

A real family icon in Damp is the museum ship "Albatros". This ship lies dry and serves as a natural history museum. During high season, there are regular interactive activities for children.

At the beach promenade, you will find delicious restaurants, small stores and cosy cafés for a tasty break. Next to the pool, you can enjoy a game of bowling at the Kubbsala bowling centre

With your own or hired bicycles, you can explore Damp and the surrounding area perfectly. Trips can lead, for example, to the completely water-logged manor of Ludwigsburg, the many small villages around the spa town of Damp, and the towns of Kappeln and Eckernförde. A visit to the Haithabu Viking settlement offers a fascinating glimpse into the Viking past. Day trips to cities such as Kiel and Flensburg are also worthwhile.
