The towns of Poreč, Vrsar and Rovinj are well worth a visit. The Roman past and the Balkans meet in these towns. A stroll along the harbour promenades, markets and through winding alleyways is always worthwhile. In high season, a tourist train runs from the nearby Plava Laguna resort to Poreč. Children looking for adventure outside the resort will love the Dino Park in Funtana. The theme park offers numerous attractions, such as rides, shows and a canyon bridge.
