Hotel Luni Mare

Luni Mare features a spacious outdoor pool, open from June to September. The pool is clear, with a shallow area where children can play safely. There are loungers along the edge, so you can relax for a while while keeping an eye on the kids. There is no water slide or extensive water park, but the pool is clean and spacious enough to cool off or enjoy a dip every day. About 1 km away is the beach at Luni Mare. The beach is partly free and partly furnished with sunbeds and umbrellas that you can rent. The sand is mixed with small pebbles, and the water slopes gradually-pleasant with children. You can swim there, play beach games or just lounge under an umbrella. In summer, there are also beach bars where you can have something to eat or drink.

Luni Mare is not a large-scale complex, but rather a small-scale, practical accommodation with a simple and quiet set-up. There is no animation team or entertainment program, which makes it especially suitable for families who want to plan their own days. The atmosphere is friendly, children play with each other on the grounds or in the pool. The apartments are functionally furnished, and there is also a restaurant on site where you can go for a meal. For groceries, you can go to a supermarket within walking distance, and there are several dining options in the area. The hotel is surrounded by greenery and trees, providing some shade and cooling in the hot summer months. Parking is free, and you have plenty of space and quiet here to relax after a day on the road.

The surroundings of Luni Mare have much to offer for families who want to get out and about. Less than 10 kilometres away is the charming town of Sarzana, with a cosy centre, terraces and stores. A little further away are famous cities such as La Spezia (25 km) and Pisa (60 km)-pleasant for a day trip with older children. The famous Cinque Terre is easily accessible from La Spezia by train or boat. These five colourful villages against the rocks are impressive to see, also for children. For those who love history, there is Luni Antica, an archaeological site with remains of a Roman city, just a few kilometres away. The coast itself is also worth exploring. You can drive along the coast towards Lerici or Portovenere, where you will find beautiful views and atmospheric harbours. And of course, along the coast there are several beaches, large and small, where you can swim, snorkel or just build sandcastles.
