La Bolée d’Air campsite is an absolute must for Francophiles, especially given it’s ideal location perched between woodland and in the sea in stunning Vendée. Offering swimming pools, great entertainment, sports, activities and access to a beach, this site has everything you need for a great family holiday. There is also plenty to explore in the nearby area, whether on foot or by bicycle.
Most of us enjoy a paddle in the pool on holiday so you won’t be disappointed to know this site has both an indoorand outdoor pool, as well as a paddling pool and slides for the little ones. Adults can enjoy relaxing in the sauna or Jacuzzi while the kids tire themselves out. The beach is also close by, so there’s no excuse not to bring your swimming gear. The fantastic entertainment team are on hand to provide the kids with plenty of activities and sports should they tire of swimming. And when it comes to dinner time, you can cook in your accommodation or spoil yourself with a takeaway.
Do you want to delve into history? Take your children to the prehistoric centre in Cairn, 5km from La Bolée d’Air, and get them started as an archaeologist. Another attraction, just 10 minutes from the campsite, is Le Château des Aventuriers. Unravel the secrets of the castle, find the treasure of the pirate or find the dinos. Looking for a town to explore? Then drive to La Roche-sur-Yon.
